Privacy policy

Last updated November 7, 2026

This policy explains what information Anix collects when you use our website and API, how we use it, and the choices you have. Anix is operated by Geraldo Grell, a sole proprietor in New York, doing business as Anix ("Anix," "we," "us").

In short

  • We never store, log or train on your prompts or the model's outputs.
  • We keep a small amount of request metadata for 30 days to bill you and stop abuse.
  • We don't sell personal information, and our website uses no cookies or analytics.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us: your name, email address, company and anything else you include when you request a key or email us.
  • API keys: stored only in hashed form, so we can check a key but not read it.
  • Request metadata: for each API request, the API key ID, model, input and output token counts, cached-token count, time, duration, response status and the IP address it came from.
  • Billing details: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive payment status and billing contact details, never your full card number.
  • Website visits: our website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party scripts. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard connection data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

What we don't collect

The content of your requests and responses, including prompts, files, completions, tool calls and reasoning, passes through our servers in memory to produce a response and is then discarded. We don't log it, store it or use it to train or improve any model. Our data policy explains exactly how requests are handled.

How we use information

  • To run the API and check API keys.
  • To measure usage and bill you.
  • To detect and stop abuse, fraud and security problems.
  • To answer your questions and support requests.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that run parts of our service, listed in our data policy (Cloudflare, Beam, RunPod, Stripe and Google Workspace), and only so they can provide that service. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of people or of Anix. If Anix is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy.

How long we keep it

  • Request metadata: 30 days.
  • Billing and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 7 years.
  • Emails and contact details: while you're a customer and for up to 12 months after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Security

All connections use TLS encryption, API keys are hashed, prompts and outputs are never written to disk, and access is limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you without undue delay.

Your choices

Email us to get a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete it. We'll respond within 30 days. Deleting your account revokes your API keys; we keep only the billing records the law requires.

Children

Anix is a service for developers and businesses. It isn't directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Where data is processed

We process information in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and email customers at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
